Finsbury Healthcare is a well established medical centre that has had a presence in the city since 1992. We are fully conversant with the needs and culture of our corporate clients and City patients. We are a large practice with 14 doctors (full & part time) who practise traditional General Practice which is evidence based and up to date. We also have 6 physiotherapists, 3 practice nurses and a full time exercise physiologist.
Some of our doctors have areas of special interest, e.g. Dr Tony Stacey is also an Aviation Medical Examiner.
Our practice nurses conduct routine nurse appointments and are all specialists in Travel Health. Our nurses also run flu clinics in the autumn.
We have a fast and reliable laboratory service for blood tests, and ready access to X rays and scans. Our doctors have an extensive knowledge of specialists should a referral be required.
We have a full time dedicated exercise physiologist who conducts cardio-fit exercise tests and Sports Massage.
Our large team of physiotherapists are all very experienced and work closely with our doctors. They also offer acupuncture for pain management and one of our physiotherapists specialises in Women’s Health.
Our Clinicians conduct several in-house clinics at the offices of our corporate clients.
We also offer health promotion events including educational talks and mini health checks that are held at the City firms to promote health and well being.

Dr Alexandra Harkins, Lead Doctor
Alex is the Lead doctor at Finsbury Healthcare where she has worked since 2001. She undertook her medical training at Christ's College, Cambridge and St Mary's Hospital, Paddington. She is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and has particular interests in preventative medicine, women's health and education. Alex gives regular seminars to firms on health related matters.
She is experienced in caring for staff in demanding jobs and has excellent links with various private hospitals and specialist colleagues. Alex also does some NHS locum sessions and is an appraiser for the Independent Doctors Forum.
