Health Assessment

Pre-employment health questionnaires are medically confidential and are returned by employees directly to Tower Hill Medical Centre after a conditional job offer has been made. They are intended to ensure whether an employee is able to take on the stated role and whether HR need advising on any reasonable adjustments. We provide a prompt service and aim to process questionnaires within 72 hours.

After review, HR will receive a report stating whether the individual is "fit for work" or "fit with adjustments" or "unfit for role". Further enquiries may be made directly with the employee, or by obtaining their GP report (after consent from the employee).
In some circumstances, and after communication with HR, individuals may be asked to attend for a medical. Both standard and executive pre-employment medicals are undertaken at Tower Hill Medical Centre and appointments are available 8.00 - 6.00pm every business day.
